PBA, 24-25시즌 우선등록 합격명단 발표

‘튀르키예 신성’ 부락 하스하스(튀르키예∙18)가 프로당구 무대에 도전한다.
PBA(프로당구협회)는 1일 오전 보도자료를 통해 2024-25시즌 PBA-LPBA투어 무대를 누빌 우선 등록 합격자 명단 18명을 발표했다. 하스하스를 비롯해 PBA투어 ‘초대 챔프’ 필리포스 카시도코스타스(그리스∙40) 로빈슨 모랄레스(스페인∙45) 코스타스 파파콘스탄티누(그리스∙59)가 합격했다.
하스하스는 튀르키예 3쿠션을 이끌 재목으로 평가받는 기대주다. 지난 2022년 불과 16세 때 ‘세계주니어3쿠션선수권’ 정상을 밟은 후 각종 주니어 무대를 휩쓸었고, 지난해 3쿠션월드컵에서 8강에 오르며 성인무대에 안착했다.
이밖에 PBA 무대에서 세 시즌간 활약하며 두 차례 우승컵을 들어올린 ‘왼손 천재’ 필리포스 카시도코스타스를 비롯해 로빈슨 모랄레스와 코스타스 파파콘스탄티누가 PBA로 복귀할 예정이다.
여자부 LBPA에서는 지난 시즌 복귀를 선언한 차유람(36)을 비롯해 ‘세계여자3쿠션선수권’ 우승자 이신영(45), 지난 시즌 와일드카드로 프로무대를 밟은 신예 이효제(17) 등 총 16명이 우선등록에 합격했다.
이밖에 드림투어(2부)에는 정승일, 한춘호, 김한누리, 오즈칼 얄신(튀르키예) 등 6명이 드림투어(2부) 우선등록에 합격했다.
앞서 PBA는 전 세계 3쿠션 선수들을 대상으로 우선등록을 접수했다. 우선등록제도는 국내외 우수선수들을 대상으로 1부투어 및 2부투어 등록 자격을 주는 제도다. 신청 선수들에 한해 국내외 대회 입상과 경기력 등을 종합적으로 PBA 경기운영위원회가 선정, 합격 선수를 발표한다.
한편, PBA는 오는 14일 오후 한국프레스센터에서 ‘2024년도 PBA 팀리그 드래프트’를 실시할 예정이다.
